Donation Criteria
INGEAR takes the high responsibility that comes with donations very seriously. Due to the complexity of donations, there is never a simple, final answer as to whether a donation is "good" or not. Consequences and backgrounds can never be fully understood. However, the present donation criteria are intended to help us to look at each donation from different perspectives and to reflect the consequences of our decision as carefully as possible:
About us
We are an association founded in 2006 in Eggenfelden (Southern Germany) with the aim of supporting disadvantaged and poor people in countries of the Global South (so-called developing countries), following the principle of helping people help themselves. In doing so, we are committed to projects with which we have personal contact, with donations for education, primary care and medical care. Our income is generated both from event proceeds and from donations from individuals and groups (schools, companies, associations, organizations, foundations). In addition to the acquisition of funds, information about development cooperation and global topics plays an important role, which is expressed, for example, in the implementation of INGEAR@school school projects. All members of the association work voluntarily and are actively involved in various ways. We work transparently (annually published financial report and control of expenses in the projects) and with the lowest possible administrative fees, so that the donations can be used for their intended purpose.

In order to do justice to our principle of transparency in the best possible way, we have been publishing the financial report of our association INGEAR - INitiative GEgen ARmut e. V. annually (retroactively) since 2011.

Active Membership
We from INGEAR need volunteers to be able to realize our goals and ideas of a better world. Because we can only make a change together.
Volunteering for INGEAR means to be active in a motivated and ambitious team. We are united by the will and passion to make the world a better place. Getting involved with INGEAR means a lot of fun and variety: Everyone can play their part according to their strengths and interests. INGEAR has designed its association structure according to the numerous tasks. Depending on your interests and strengths, you can become actively involved in the following teams:
Get involved in Regensburg, Eggenfelden, Munich oder anywhere else!
INGEAR has a fixed group in the student city of Regensburg. The INGEAR group there meets regularly and organizes various fundraising events. Also in Eggenfelden in the district of Rottal-Inn, where the association was founded, there is an INGEAR group in which you can get involved. You are also welcome to get involved in our group in Munich. Furthermore there is a lot of background work to do, e.g. in the teams Fundraising, Communication or Digital Media. In many areas you can also work from any location. At the INGEAR seminars, which take place twice a year, active INGEAR members from all regions come together and make new plans together.
How often? From one-off actions to daily:
